With a heavy heart i left Ushuaia. I have to see forward for new impressive impressions. The next stop was Punta Arenas in Chile, only for one night. At the arrivel i saw many things of destruction. There are a lot of protests in Chile at the moment (on the day of arrival there were many protests) but for traveller it is and was save. I will talk about the protests at the next post “Santiago”.
At the bus station we had a nice reunion with Sarah =) after a nice dinner, a good sleep and a wonderful breakfest with instant coffee *pfuiiii* the trip was going on =) Let´s go to Puerto Natales.
Lisa and i wanted to go to the peak of Torress del Paine. It is a really sad that you have to pay about 30€ for the bus and after that about 30€ for the national park. I paid over 50€ for the entry, only for the walk without guide. Crazy, but i learned for it. I will never fall in such a tourist trap.
The weather was also shit, just rain and clouds. After two hours of walking we decided to go back. I was wet until my boxershort. It was also very annoying that no guide advised us to go back *zipft mi an sowos* =) It was a really fucking day!
On the way back to the bus station i met a Chilean.. A really funny guy because he walked with open jacket during the rainshower and did a livestream on Facebook with hardcore metal music in the background =) hahahah cool man =)
It was a long and unpleasant bus ride too – 80km and 18 degrees in the bus =(
After a hot shower and a gooooood dinner *a guate Jausn* we decided to leave Puerto Natales (weather forecast was shit – rainshower for the five days. And i was really angry about the high prices there). We planed our next destination – El Calafate, and it was agood plan =)
