LIMA

Next stop, the capital of Peru, Lima. With a population of more than nine million people, Lima is the most populous metropolitan area of Peru and the third-largest city in the Americans, behind Sao Paulo and Mexico City.
After the bus ride I shared a taxi with Colin, a really nice guy from Colorado. It was funny because we didn´t know where our hostels are but during the drive we checked it: “we are in the same hostel” =) so, the taxi sharing made sense =) and I found there a really cool friendship, thanks Colin for the nice time in the hostel =)
The other good thing, I would say the best thing, was already in the hostel. Lisa was there *juhuuuu* the plan was to inquiring together the beautiful city.

The hostel was also very nice. A little game hall in the middle of Miraflores =) with tablefootball, pingpong and billiard table. During playing we found other nice person who joined us =) after one hour we were a group about five people, really really funny! The olympic games in Lima have started =)
uhhhh, I forgot the most important thing, they are having their own bar =) and you can smoke inside =) more more fun =)
Lisa, I and many other people from the hostel had a lot of fun during the games and while drinking =) I falled in love with this hostel =)

Back to Lima. Lima is also pritty nice. At the first day we walked to the beach. Just a little walk, followed by a bath, a good meal, funny games and a good sleep. perfect day =)

An other funny story:
Across from our hostel is the Kanady-Park. You can adopt there cats =) the park is full with cats, everywhere you are looking there are standing, lying, sleeping, eating cats. If you find your love there, you can take the cat, walk to the small register house and everything is done =)

The next few days were really relaxed. Lisa and I did two Free-Walking-Tours. The first one was the “old town tour”. The best thing during this tour, we met a family from Vancouver and after the first conversation we were one big family =) I will visit them in Vancouver again, for sure. I have to learn golf by Salimah =) I am looking forward to it =) and I promise you, I will come!! We had also luck because we saw the changing of the guard at the presidential palace. And I told it many times, a free walking tour is the best option to get to know the city better.

The other Free-Walking-Tour was in Barranco and it was a “grafity tour”. It was also nice. After this walking tour you are looking to the grafity with an other eye because you know the background about it!!

Finally I would like to say, Lima is a really beautiful, nice city and I enjoed the time there, I found many friends there and had a lot of fun with all of them =)
But I still have to say, it was another big city and after the fifth/sixth big city it is “nothing” new. The next plan, get out of the city and get in into nature =) We decided to go deep into the Amazonas and booked a flight to Iquitos.
